Phnom Penh`s Central Market

Day 1 Phnom Penh
Welcome to the Kingdom of Cambodia!
Arrival in Phnom Penh and transfer by air conditioned vehicle to the hotel.
Cambodia is much more than temples. The history of Cambodia is both inspiring and sobering, uplifting and heartbreaking. Visit Siem Reap’s magnificent temples, abandoned centuries ago by the Khmer kingdom and now surrounded by its lush forests. In Phnom Penh, witness stark reminders of the atrocities committed by the Khmer Rouge.
It's time to satisfy our foodie side with an evening visit to the markets. We'll go there in local style - in a tuk-tuk. It's the food section in the art-deco Central Market that we'll be heading to, enticed by the aromas of freshly cooked snacks. We can try exotic fruits such as dragon fruit and mango - but beware the stinky durian! In the Old Market we'll see all the different spices as well as more bizarre ingredients. By now, the sun will be starting to set so we'll make our way up to a rooftop bar for cocktails overlooking the Mekong. Dinner will be in a local restaurant, followed by dessert from a stall that whips up fresh fruit shakes and fruits with sweet condensed milk. Happy eating!

Day 2 Phnom Penh - Sihanoukville's Islands
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer by private vehicle and English-speaking guide from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville (230 km.)
Depending on which category of accommodation you prefer, boat transfer either to Koh Rong or Koh Krabey.
Overnight on Koh Rong or Koh Krabey

Days 3 - 6 Sihanoukville's Islands
All days at leisure.
Spend the night on Koh Rong or Koh Krabey

Day 7 Sihanoukville - Phnom Penh
Boat transfer to the jetty in Sihanoukville. Transfer by vehicle from Sihanoukville back to Phnom Penh together with your English-speaking guide (230 km). Drop off either at the airport or at your hotel.
